Is it a book

This is the project I have been working on, the decopatch book. I have done the decopatch all over and painted the inside. On top made some little flowers and bits and pieces and varnished it all. It will be on my dressing table for bits of jewellery. Hope you like it.

Birthday card

Once again, another stamped card, just using one ink. The bow is purple but looks blue, i took several piccies but they all looked the same colour.
The stamps used are  creative expresions Rose. And a distress ink. Hope you like it

Have you noticed...

Good morning everyone, its wet and cold this morning, next doors dog is yapping merrily away and Mr. gadget over the road has got his gadgets out, much to my disdain. They are very noisey and i wanted a nice quiet Sunday. No cards today but i have been having a play and done a few things to change the appearence of my blog. i might add..much to my surprise... I have changed the colour and type. There is hope for me yet. Tomorrow i will have another go at something else, at mo i am still in shock at doing something technical all on my own.

A little Tree

I bought this Holly stencil ages ago and thought it was about time i used it with the dreamweaver embossing paste, befor it dried i added a sprinkle of glitter, such an easy but effective card.

Another 4x4

I cant help it, i just love these little cards. This will be another for the Christmas box for family and friends. The stamp i have used is an LOTV, coloured with promarkers and the baubles have been glazed with clear embossing powder. Hope you like it.

 For Rainbow Lady's Challenge this week i decided to make a brooch. I drew a little birdie on some grunge board and cut it out. Then used some UTEE for the base. I topped it with some  verdigree embossing powder and lightly stamped into it. I then put some clear versamark randomly over and added for highlites some perfect pearls. I have lightly sprayed with hairspray to fix.

This card has been made in monotone sepia, i love using  just one colour, it can be quite effective.

Rainbow Ladys Faux Postage Challenge

This is the first time i've ever done a challenge.I used a Artemio stamp set and distress inks, on a A5 card. I inked all over with 3different shades of ink and then stamped over the top, decoupaged the butterfly and dragon fly, then splashed a bit of h20 over,lol. Hope you like it.

Good Morning all from a sunny Worcester. I have a few Christmas cards to show you. Nothing complicated or special, just easy. I have made a lot of these to send to friends and relatives. No embellishments at all, as i want to cut down the cost of the post when the time arrives.I have embossed the centre of card with a small circular nestie and cut out the same size circle. I have stamped around the edges with a LOTV stamp and coloured with pro markers. I also went round edges of card with a distress ink-I have used old stamps that haven't seen the light of day for quite a while, for the centre images.

I will try and put some more on at a later date,it has taken me ages to do this with O/H aid-lol-

Maybe one day i will pick it all up, but at mo it is all just sailing right over my head. I think it must be an age thing.!!

Shocked

Good Sunday morning every one, I am still in shock at starting a blog. I will persist. I am a bit of a technophobe, so this is a bit like abseiling down Mount Everest for me. Now dont get laughing, but actually finding my blog was a mammoth task, it is now in 'my favorits'. Getting a picture on here will be something else, i have taken some piccies of xmas cards that i have been making over the last few weeks. I will get hubby to help and show me what to do, remembering is the problem.!!
